Second Line Application Support – Broadcasting – Waterloo

Second Line Application Support – Your responsibilities

To ensure the best possible availability and quality of systems and services, you will manage and maintains an application solution on both a functional and operational level. You will work directly with our development team and be an expert in solving challenging software issues and offering technical support to our clients.

Your main tasks (they are very open if you would like to add other tasks because you are passionate about networking, system, or development):

  • Be sure to always have the satisfaction of the consumer in mind.
  • Take part in incident management (P1, P2, and P3)
  • Help our outsourced team to resolve challenging single-user issues (P4).
  • Discuss problem tickets with R&D.
  • Write a report about the incident.
  • Manage trouble tickets and service requests.
  • Keep an eye on installed services.
  • Implement tools for enhanced problem identification or proactive platform analysis by understanding product processes.
  • Produce and keep up with technical documentation.

Second Line Application Support – Your profile:

  • Bachelor in IT
  • Able to read lines of code
  • Knowledge of PHP, SQL, Bash, and Perl
  • A first experience in IT support or application support
  • Fluency in French and English
