We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our partner, one of the world’s leading manufacturers in its field, active in the waste recycling industry.

Present on the Belgian territory but also internationally, they have no less than 120 employees, which makes them today the WORLD LEADER in its sector of activity and realize a turnover of several million €.

Your Responsibilities

The Mechanical Design Engineer is responsible for creating overall and detailed plans of the company products and projects. He/She will be in charge of the quality of designs and layouts, ensuring adherence to specifications.

Drafting of 3D assemblies to create/improve system setups or parts:

• You develop one or several alternatives based on specifications, guidelines, and similar setups.
• You present options to the supervisor or project team for the selection of the best compromise
• You compare/quantify variations based on cost objectives, quality, ease of assembly, and maintenance.

Drafting plans

• You create clear overall and detailed plans in the correct format.
• You produce drawings.
• You monitor modifications (indicating plans, identifying changes, updating data).
• Adherence to set deadlines and standardizations.

Your Profile

• Holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in (electro)mechanical Engineering
• Proficient in CAD software (PTC CREO REQUIRED, and SolidWorks is a plus).
• Basic technical knowledge.
• Knowledge of technical English is an advantage.
